Da Nang Offers many Preferential Policies When Investing in  Hi-Tech Park

Domestic and foreign organizations and individuals investing in Da Nang Hi-Tech Park will be enjoyed special investment incentives on land rent and non-agricultural land use tax, reimbursement of money and ground clearance, corporate income tax incentives, import duty incentives.

Investment in Vietnam - This is the content of Decree 04/2018 / ND-CP on the mechanism and incentive policy for Da Nang High-Tech Park that has just been signed by the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, effective date as of 20 February 2018.

Specifically, enterprises implementing new investment projects in Da Nang High-Tech Park will be subject to the corporate income tax rate of 10% for 15 years. New investment projects with the capital of VND3,000 billion or more shall be entitled to a preferential tax rate of 10% for 30 years. In addition, these enterprises are exempted from corporate income tax for four years, a 50% reduction of the tax payable for the next nine years.

Import duties is exempt from imported goods to create fixed assets of the project in the Park, including machinery and equipment, specialized means of transport in the technological line used directly for production activities of the project and construction materials that cannot be produced domestically; These incentives is applied to both new expanded investment projects.

Exemption of import duty for 5 years from the commencement of production of raw materials, supplies and spare parts which cannot be produced in the country, imported for production of investment projects in the hi-tech park.

Exemption of import duty on machinery, equipment, spare parts and supplies which cannot be produced at home, specialized scientific documents and books directly used for scientific research, technological development, developed technology incubators and renovated technology in the park.

Regarding land, exempting from the entire land rental for the entire term of an investment project used for the construction of transport works and technical infrastructure, water surface and greenery land, and public use parks according to general planning and zone division planning; land for construction of business works of public business organizations; land for building establishments of CNC human resource training; land for housing projects for experts, employees hired when working in the park; and projects on the list of special investment incentive areas (except construction investment projects, infrastructure business of the park).

According to this Decree, investors, specialists and workers are Vietnamese residing overseas, foreigners working directly at Da Nang hi-tech park and family members (including parents, spouses, offspring, adopted children under 18 years of age) shall be considered for issuance of multiple exit and entry visas within a time limit suitable to the purpose of entry.
