According to the Department of Planning and Investment of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, the province has newly granted 29 new projects and increased the capital of 7 projects with a total registered capital of US$ 1.5 billion in 2017. As such, by the end of 2017, there are 315 FDI projects in the province with a total registered capital of nearly US$ 27 billion.

Ba Ria-Vung Tau Industrial Zones Authority has also paid attention to the implementation of legal regulations on investment inspection and evaluation such as actively addressing the problems of the licensed projects, coordinating with departments and sectors to carry out investment promotion in industrial zones; To review and urge investment projects in industrial parks to implement the registration schedule as prescribed and committed in the investment certificates, to step up the operation of the national information system on foreign investment.

Nguyen Hong Linh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Party Committee, said that in the following years, this locality will continue to call and attract qualified and experienced enterprises in large, modern technology projects.
